First came my love for writing. Next came my passion for creating videos. Before I knew it, I graduated with a B.S. in Television, Radio & Film from Syracuse University in 2020 where I mastered programs in the Adobe Creative Suite such as Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Audition, and Animate.

The process of content creation is something in which I have always had a keen interest. I love all aspects of the creative process. Nothing excites me more than watching an idea come fully to life through media.

Whether I’m in the writer’s room pitching ideas or in the editing suite piecing videos together, I love expressing my creativity.

Experience

  • Video Editing.

    I have 5 years of experience working with programs on the Adobe Creative Cloud, specifically Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Lightroom, and Audition. I also have a year of Avid experience and am a Certified Avid Media Composer User. During my internship at Malka Media, I worked primarily as a post-production editor, editing, resizing, and captioning podcast excerpts for social media platforms.

  • Filming.

    I have experience working on film sets using a C100 camera as well as working in a multi-cam studio, filming with industry standard television cameras. During my production internship at Malka Media, I spent time working as a PA on set in which I would help run A7 cameras or monitor audio levels during podcast recordings using ProTools.

  • Writing.

    I have four years of experience working as a writer on two different comedy shows while at Newhouse. For these shows I attended countless pitch meetings, writer's meetings, and table-reads. I also write short scripts and other pilots in my free time, using Final Draft for proper script formatting.

  • Social Media.

    Having worked as the Social Media Manager for Syracuse University's Women's Lacrosse Camps, my responsibilities included filming, photographing, and creating all types of media and social media campaigns for the organization's website and social pages. I also was the Public Relations Chair for my music service sorority for two years, edited videos for Malka Media’s social media accounts during my internship, and currently assist with paid social strategies at Decido.

  • Content Managing.

    I currently am working as a content manager with a start-up company where I am the sole manager of six different entertainment magazines. In this position I manage a team of freelance writers to write the content we need, then I meticulously edit and optimize everything that gets posted on all 6 websites. I manage everything from branding and logo designs, to short form articles, long form gallery articles, and social media accounts.
